I truly believe that breakfast is essential in our lives. I'm a student and FYI i'm no good at waking up early (don't make me start to tell you about how my grandma really mad at me when she's waking me up). Thus, sometimes I try to sneak and steal a few minutes while my friend still in shower to cook up something yum, quick yet healthy for my self.
My second belief about breakfast is, don't think that you will loss your weight if you skip your breakfast. It's completely wrong my dear. Like I said earlier, breakfast is essential. Your body (or more likely, your brain) expects to be refueled a few times each day. When you don't eat breakfast you may feel so hungry by lunch time that you eat more foods than you normally would, which cancels out the calories you choose foods that are not the healthiest choices when you feel like you're starving.
Other than that, research also revealed that people who eat breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight. Some experts believe that breakfast keeps your metabolism running higher because skipping meals causes the body to kick into 'starvation' mode. It sounds impressive, doesn't it? yeah. I also think it is. When it comes to diet or let me say, losing weight, I try not to skip my breakfast then eat every 2-3 hours with small portion of meals. Last but not least, exercise !!
Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dine like a pauper.
Well, in my case would be Breakfast like a queen, lunch like a princess, dine like a pauper.
